Dreamers and Designers

Francis Mansbridge with photographs by John Moir. Harbour Publishing. 2018.

Dreamers and Designers.webp

Dreamers and Designers  traces the history of West Vancouver and examines how its approach to land use has shaped the region. The text is enlivened by accounts of the major personalities involved and sidebars featuring the voices of West Vancouverites. Archival and contemporary photographs paint a vivid picture of how West Vancouver’s unique setting has defined the dynamic coastal community and the lives of those who reside there.

Dreamers and Designers is the first book in the West Vancouver Historical Society’s series to have a publishing partner, Harbour Publishing. Generous support from the Leyland family of West Vancouver and from British Pacific Properties made the production of this book possible
