Join us for our annual collaboration with the West Vancouver Legion! This year we are launching a fundraiser to re-furbish the Veteran’s Memorial at the Capilano View Cemetery which is celebrating its centennial this year.

Due to the liquor license at the Legion, this is a 19+ event.
4:30PM | Meat Draw Fundraiser: Proceeds from the meat draw will go to the project, a brief presentation will follow. Members who want to make a night of it will no doubt enjoy the fantastic band and dance party afterwards by Checo Tohomaso who, having toured with Marvin Gaye, The Commodores, and Lionel Ritchie, has a fascinating story that intertwines with 20th century popular music history.
6:15PM | Historical Society Presentation - A short history of the Cemetery War monuments: Join Stephen Price, President of the WVHS, for a brief overview of the historical importance of the cemetery, the monuments to West Vancouver's veterans that can be found there, and the developing plans to ensure that we continue to tell the stories of those who have come before us.
